Research indicates that the characteristics we are born will have much more influence on our personality and development than any experiences we may have in our life. Which do you consider to be the major influence?

Through their genes, parents pass on features or qualities to their offspring, such as eye colour and blood type. Many experts believe that genetic features have a bigger influence on a person’s personality, but I believe that life experience, as argued by other groups, has a greater impact, which will be explored in detail in the following article.

To begin, some people feel that a person’s genetic makeup contributes to certain of his qualities. This is owing to the fact that humans pass on some traits to their children in the form of DNA. It implies that instinctive abilities and capabilities have been passed down for centuries from father to son. For example, the majority of Asian vocalists are descendants of great singers and performers from the past.

Others, on the other hand, believe that the facts of one’s everyday existence such as education and work experience have a significant impact on one’s personality. This is due to the fact that humans are constantly changing as a result of evolution and are capable of adapting to a variety of situations. Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, for example, was not just a boring and depressed adolescent, but he also suffered racial prejudice during his youth. Nonetheless, he opted to take command and, with the assistance of consistency, commitment, and hard work, he rose to become one of the world’s most recognized singers.

In my opinion, natural abilities play an important part in one’s life, but real-world circumstances and experiences alter a person’s capabilities. To provide an example, when we work as a beginner in any industry, we make a lot of mistakes at first, but with practice, we become more efficient.

In conclusion, while natural disposition plays an important part in determining some aspects of our personalities, I believe that life events have a significant impact on a person’s personality.
